What 2019 is treating us with? 2019 is a relatively important one with, above all a Mercury transit, a rare occurrence with the next one not before 2032! In terms of space, 2019 is the one when U.S. New Horizons mission will be the first ever mission to reach to a Kuiper Belt Object, a remarkable deed! Two lunar, and three solar eclipses occur of which a total solar one, a relatively important Saturn, a remarkable Neptune, or the end of the Mars Opposition Campaign 2018-2019 will also be of note! The configuration of Moon makes 2019 a great year of occultations of planets and minor planets by the Moon as, amazingly none of the bright stars usually occulted by Moon, like Aldebaran, Antares, Regulus or Spica, will be! 2019 is not a leap year as it will also feature the 50th anniversary of the historical landing of the Apollo 11 mission at Moon!
