Great Space Events in 2013

LDCM or the Landsat Data Continuity Mission, due to launch in 2013 is the next mission by NASA to continue the mission of the Landsat series, to supply images and data of the Earth, as a flurry of miscellaneous minor missions in the solar system should also launch with varied targets like Mercury, the Moon or Mars, for example. Cassini at Saturn, MESSENGER at Mercury -albeit extended into March 2013 only, or rover Curiosity -and rover Opportunity- are scheduled to keep at work. Commercial endeavours to space, as far as they are concerned, will also continue, like the SpaceX which will send a other cargo flight to the ISS and Orbital Sciences Corporation which will test-fly its capsule

Since 2010, we have entered a decade where the celebrations of numerous missions of the 1960's will be occurring. As far as 2013 is concerned, that will especially concerns the last flight of the Mercury program, with the flight of capsule Faith 7
