The Sun is our star, 93,000 miles (150 million km) from us, and dazzling. The Sun, as seen from the Earth, however, is just ½° in apparent diameter. Just try one day to hide the Sun with you little finger at arm's length, and you will see that you just actually screen the Sun! The nearer or the farther the Sun, in our solar system and its apparent diameter will vary -in more, or in less! The following diagram is just showing how the Sun is looking as seen from the various planets of the solar system!
